Yeah! I decided to give the movie theater another try. Amanda (due to give birth in just a few more weeks!) joined Lauren and I for Mom's Movie Magic. I was thrilled to see that the movie theater had printed out signs and hung them on every entrance door and at the ticket purchase window stating that "Babies can be babies..." at the first showing of each movie on Tuesday. And it worked. No one in our showing of Ratatouille complained. In fact, there was a mom's group there and they had no qualms about treating the theater like their personal living room. Their rug rats toddled or crawled all over the theater, spilling popcorn and making noise. By comparison, the 2 minutes that Lauren cried before she fell asleep were nothing. Amanda and I are really looking forward to more Mom's Movie Magic!

I'm so jealous. We used to have a "reel mom" feature once a week here and they canceled it due to poor attendance. But we find other ways to stay out of the heat!
i have wanted to try this; maybe i can invite myself along for a movie in the future. :)
Suz - absolutley! My first experience was horrible, so I wanted to see if it got better before I invited others :) We should have a mom's group outing.
