We were headed to meet friends at an outdoor music performance at Ravinia yesterday. Liz made cookies for the event -- delicious picture-perfect cookies. They were chocolate walnut. As you can tell you from the pose, Liz wasn't exactly a thoroughly willing model. But she's a beauty at any rate, and look at those beautiful cookies!

Welcome to geek-dom!

Meet the newest member of our family. He joined us yesterday. So far, he's mainly been laying low and taking in his new environment. There's an awful lot to get used to around here, but he seems to be adjusting well.

Indy has his own blog. You can follow his ins and out here. Who knew Indy would turn out to be so smart -- not to mention so savy about the Internet? As soon as we can teach him the "go to work" command, we'll be SET.
